Days of now: No images

Desole pour le silence radio.
Je vais voyager pour les semaines qui viennent et mon ordinateur s'est brutalement crashe. La vieille de mon depart!
J'avais prepare des images a uploader facilement mais j'ai tout perdu.
Du coup, c'est la mierda.

Sorry for the lack of posts.
i just arrived in London, but my hard drive crashed the day before i left.
i lost all the images I had prepared for easy upload while I'll be travelling.

I'm looking through my external hard drive, as well as negatives right now.
Redoing my portfolio before I head to London.
Came across those small scans I made years ago.
They're only scans from contact sheets, but I like their murkiness.
It might have been my first time traveling while using a leica.
I should find for those negs.

Day+107: Photo du Jour; That old lady

Sorry I haven't posted in a few days. I was looking to grasp some of the abundance of art with the Armory happening this week end, enjoy the fun part of it, and try not to cough up my lungs with a bad cold lingering.
But yesterday was the 1st day of spring, walked by the river and looked at that old liberty lady.
So here are a couple of portraits of her.

Day+102: Et ca repart

Woke up to a blizzard today. A white curtain right outside my window.
Too much coffee already, while I'm working on an a letter of presentation of I'll be your mirror.
Looking back at the project after a hiatus made me realize how much more I want to do.
All the visual questions I have not yet answered.
Planning a trip to London, Paris and Iceland if I'm lucky.
Ready to start photographing a whole new set of people.
New faces, new bodies, new stories.

Quand je suis arrive dans mon bureau hier matin, la vue par la fenetre n'etait qu'un rideau de blanc.
Un pur blizzard avec quelques silhouettes de grattes ciel au loin.
Ces jours ci, je travaille a une lettre de presentation pour un lieu d'expo assez incroyable.
C'est toujours difficile de synthetiser une pensee a posteriori.
Mais repenser mon travail apres un hiatus m'a fait realiser que j'etais loin d'avoir fini d'explorer mon sujet.
Beaucoup de questions formelles et thematiques sont encore en suspens.
Du coup, je prepare une visite europeenne pour photgraphier d'autres visages et d'autres corps.
Londres, Paris, et Reykjavik et berlin si j'ai de la chance.
