Art is Good: L'atelier Brancusi

Photos du Jour: Thank you Taryn for recommending a visit to KW

Went to see the Ceal Floyer show at Kunst Werke.
Discovered an amazing artist in a great museum.
So many inspiring art in Berlin.
All my uneducated resistance towards conceptual art is melting fast.

Art is good: New York, Christy Bush at Bespoke Tonight

Busy night tonight, and I'm missing it all.
Christy Bush is also having an opening.
She's been working on this project for a long time.
Actually, we talked about it when I visited her to photograph her for I'll be Your Mirror.
Named Jackson, the series follows a young man as he enters teenage, all the way to his 15th birthday, only a few weeks ago.
I haven't seen any images yet, but you can see excerpts of her last solo show in the link below.

Art is good: Londres, Sadie Coles

2 openings at Sadie Coles!
New paintings and drawings by Elizabeth Peyton.
Whose work you probably know.
And also new pieces by Jonathan Horowitz.
The best art show I've seen so far this year was his retrospective at PS1.
Art that manages to comment on the times while being both funny and moving, doesn't come by that often.
I will go see it for the 3rd time as soon as I'm back to NY, to try to write something smart about it.
So I definitely recommend checking out whatever he has done now.
The 2 spaces are next to each other, so have a good visit.
